Do I need to do the Rapid Assessment before a full engagement? ▼
Yes — and here is why that benefits you. The Rapid Assessment ensures we scope your engagement accurately. Without it, any quote is a guess. With it, you get a fixed-fee commitment we will honour. The assessment fee is credited toward any full engagement started within 90 days.
Are your prices negotiable? ▼
Our rates reflect the expertise and outcomes we deliver. We do not discount our core consulting fees. However, we offer flexible payment terms for larger engagements, and multi-year retainer contracts include a modest discount. We would rather have a conversation about value than a negotiation about price.
What if the project takes longer than expected? ▼
All fixed-fee projects are scoped before work begins. If something outside the agreed scope is discovered during the engagement, we discuss it with you before proceeding — you will never receive an invoice for work you did not approve. This is why the Rapid Assessment is so important.
How do I know if my clinic needs the $49 report or a full consulting engagement? ▼
Start with the free HIPAA assessment. If you score above 80% and have fewer than 3 gaps, the $49 Pro Report gives you everything you need to fix things yourself. If you score below 70% or have critical gaps — especially around Security Risk Assessment, breach response, or BAAs — a professional engagement will pay for itself many times over in avoided penalties.
Do you work with clinics outside Iowa? ▼
Yes — we serve clinics nationwide. The majority of our work is conducted remotely, which keeps our engagements efficient and our clients' costs lower. For full transformation engagements, we include on-site visits at key milestones. Geography has never been a barrier to the work we do.
What payment methods do you accept? ▼
Digital products ($49 and $199) are processed via Stripe — all major credit and debit cards accepted. Consulting engagements are invoiced via ACH, wire transfer, or credit card. Fixed-fee projects are typically structured as 50% upfront and 50% on delivery of the final report. Retainers are billed monthly in advance.
